Hair Loss (Alopecia)
Loss of hair from head or body is termed as alopecia. It is normal to lose about 50 to 100 hair strands in a day. The number of hair lost per day and the degree of baldness varies from person to person. Patients often notice hair entangled in comb or brush and thinning of the scalp hair.
If your hair is healthy, it will grow back on its own. But when it doesn’t, it begins to look thinner and becomes a challenge to style.
Hair loss is a common complaint in both men and women and depends on many factors.
